CIMB Bank launches 1st cafe© banking outlet with OldTown White Coffee

Kuala Lumpur: CIMB Bank today officially launched its first cafe© banking outlet at Menara Hap Seng, Kuala Lumpur. CIMB Bank's cafe© banking offers customers the convenience of performing their banking transactions and enjoying the experience of an OldTown White Coffee cafe© in one location.
The outlet was launched by world squash champion, Dato' Nicol David and Datin Sri Azlina Aziz, wife of Dato' Sri Nazir Razak, Group Chief Executive, CIMB Group. Witnessing the launch were Lee Siew Heng, Managing Director of OldTown White Coffee, Dato' Sri Nazir and Sulaiman Mohd Tahir, Head of Consumer Sales and Distribu-tion, CIMB Bank.
Located at Menara Hap Seng, Jalan P. Ramlee, Kuala Lumpur, the cafe is equipped with self-service terminals (SST) comprising ATMs, cash deposit machines, cheque deposit machines and CIMB Clicks, the internet banking portal of the bank to enable customers to "eat & bank" in one convenient location. An in-house television will feature the Bank's latest products and promotions while financial advisors will be on hand to assist customers to buy wealth management products or apply for loans.
In his speech at the launch, Sulaiman Mohd Tahir said: "We are pleased to take banking convenience to the next level by offering customers an alternative to the traditional branch environment. Busy customers can now save time by visiting our "eat & bank" outlet and savouring the delights of OldTown White Coffee's cafe©." Sulaiman added that the Bank hopes to rollout 10 more "eat & bank" outlets across the Klang Valley, Penang and Malacca over the next two years to share the new banking and dining experience with more CIMB Bank customers. |
