Engineers - Radio Frequency

Job code: ERF010411

We are expanding our RF Team to design and develop RF Transceivers for point to multipoint systems from 2 GHz to 10GHz. You have a Bachelor/Master's degree in Microwave Engineering or Telecommunications with five years hands-on experience with design techniques for high volume digital radios.

You will play an active role in developing software and hardware for microcontroller-based embedded control of transceiver RF subsystems. This will involve designing PCB layout, schematic entry, and active and passive microwave subsystems, including lumped and distributed filters, mixers, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, oscillators.

You will work with mechanical on interdisciplinary design to develop low-cost RF packaging solutions for outdoor transceivers. You will be required to examine, evaluate and select external vendors for RF and microwave components and subsystems as well as to verify and troubleshoot prototype transceiver circuits.

You are a fast learner – you can quickly come up to speed with different technologies and develop prototypes as needed. You are highly analytical with strong problem solving skills and are able to work independently and in a team. You possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Required SkillSets
  • Solid grasp of RF theory/principles. Good understanding of different modulation techniques like QPSK, QAM, OFDM and Spread Spectrum techniques.
  • Knowledge of base band design involving digital filters, digital modulation and demodulation, A/D and D/A converters
  • Design experience on transceivers modules like modulators, demodulators, PLL synthesizers, filters, LNAs and Power Amplifiers.
  • Should have strong experience in RF/Microwave circuit, layout design and simulations using RF CAE such as Agilent's ADS, Ansoft's HFSS, AWR's Microwave office.
  • Thorough understanding of Radio measurements using Vector Network Analyzer, RF Signal generator, Spectrum Analyzer and Vector Signal Analyzer.
  • Knowledge of RF board layout rules and RF practices.
  • Good understanding of WiFi, WiMAX, 3G, LTE and ZigBee standards.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Matlab would be additional advantage.
