Work on new products or improve existing ones in terms of appearances, safety, and usefulness of industrial products
Working with clients to determine the design requirements
Brainstorming ideas and creating models
Producing sketches and sample designs or working models
Testing product designs using models, prototypes, specialist computer software and CAD technology
Maintaining awareness of current design trends and influences
Researching materials, processes or market requirements
Identifying the suitability and availability of materials.
Use the understanding of technology, materials and manufacturing methods to improve the design and usability of an item
Evaluates design ideas based on factors such as appealing appearance, design-function relationships, serviceability, ergonomics, materials and methods engineering, application, budget, price, production costs, methods of production, market characteristicsand client specifications
Use the Form Follows Function & Emotion formula on creating innovative and creative product designs to meet users’ and market
requirements and expectations

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:
Passionate, positive, enthusiastic, creative and curious person with great sketching, CAD and detail-oriented
High level of creativity in creating new and attractive designs with an ability to imagine new styles that will correspond to the trends
Artistic streak of mind
Flexible and adaptable to change
Ability to handle projects simultaneously
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient with 3D tools and software such as 3ds Max, Inventor or any other related software
Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Sound knowledge regarding product safety measures
Minimum college or university diploma in Industrial Design or Product Design or related field
